Over the course of the last four months God has taught us a lot about what it means to be a part of a spiritual team. A couple of weeks ago I (Ben) had the opportunity to speak with our home church in Zionsville about Ephesians 4:7-16. In this passage Paul is describing the church as a body made up of individual members. Every member is equally important no matter how small their role may seem. Even though all members are very unique and gifted differently, all the members working together create the harmony and oneness that makes the Church the body of Christ. We are very blessed to be working with a fabulous team of people here at Eternal Truth Ministries! What is even more exciting is that our team goes beyond those employed by ETM to a wider group of disciples of Jesus who are willing to follow our Lord at all costs! It has been through experiencing this unity of the body that God has expanded my understanding of His Church. I know there are times in life where we all feel like we are alone on this journey, but I want you to know that we want to be on your team! If there is any way we can support you or to encourage you with where you are please let us know! It is our GREAT privilege to be able to bring you before our Father in prayer.
June has begun with a bang here in the mountains! Every year in early June the ETM board gathers in Robbinsville for a time of sharing about this past year and to plan for the upcoming year of ministry. This presented a fun opportunity for us as we were able to share with this team about how God has been challenging churches through the ministry of ETM.
Last weekend we had the opportunity to begin leading the college aged class at First Baptist Church in Robbinsville. This summer we will be studying the book of Ephesians with these students and we are praying that God will expand their understanding of what the Church is all about. Please pray for this opportunity as we seek to build open relationships with these students who are at critical points in their lives!
Thank you for being part of our ministry team! It is a blessing to know we have a team of people who are lifting up our ministry to the Father in prayer!
With MUCH love and joy!
